Thoughtful Choices Brought into Everyday Life

Sustainability at Atmosphere CORE is fully embedded into our daily operations. From island-grown produce and ethical sourcing to circular waste systems and centralised logistics, our every operational choice is designed to reduce impact while elevating guest experience in the distinct Atmosphere style. These efforts create a dining philosophy based on freshness and responsibility, a supply chain that minimises unnecessary travel and packaging, and waste systems that turn by-products into new value.

Ethical & Sustainable Gastronomy

Our food philosophy starts on the island itself. Hydroponic farms, kitchen gardens and SEBS Farm supply fresh, pesticide-light produce that cuts import reliance and enhances flavour. Across our resorts, plant-forward dishes, responsible seafood, and mindful plate design lead to dining experiences that feel both delicious and planet-conscious.

Island Farms & Hydroponics

Freshness begins at the source. Our hydroponic facilities at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO delivers clean, efficient leafy production with minimal land, water, and pesticides, while SEB’s farm at RAAYA by Atmosphere brings food from farm to table with zero miles in between, reduce transport emissions and keeping produce at its peak.

This commitment to island-grown produce is reflected in tangible outcomes:

Sustainable Supply Chain & Centralised Logistics

In the third quarter of 2025, ATMOSPHERE CORE completed the full transition of sourcing responsibilities from all resorts, achieving 100% centralisation of dry goods procurement. With the entire process now centrally managed, we have strengthened quality control, improved operational efficiency, and significantly reduced our environmental footprint. Centralisation has replaced millions of pieces of individual plastic packaging with bulk paper-based alternatives, while reusable pallets and containers are now standard within our distribution network. This streamlined approach has reduced transportation movements and enhanced overall supply chain coordination.

In 2026, we are further advancing our sustainability efforts by introducing a reusable basket system across all resorts. This initiative supports circular logistics, minimises single-use materials, and reinforces our commitment to responsible resource management.

We have also established partnerships with local vendors to support community-based agriculture. By sourcing locally grown vegetables, we reduce transportation-related emissions while contributing to the economic development of local communities

(in blue) As centralisation expands, the efficiencies continue to scale with 100% of our dry goods now being sourced centrally.

Reducing plastic

Plastic reduction measures introduced in previous years remain firmly in place and continue to deliver measurable results.

All resorts operate on-site glass bottling plants, eliminating the need for single-use plastic water bottles.

Plastic straws remain fully removed from In 2025 our resorts operations, with paper straws being used as alternatives used consistently across outlets. Plastic amenities continue to be phased out where viable alternatives exist, supported by centralised sourcing and refillable dispensers. These measures collectively reduce plastic waste at source rather than relying on downstream recycling

These initiatives translate into measurable reductions:

1.5 million
